Crossfit: Exercise's Sustainability Problem

Below are the top three photos on the top three boards on Pinterest, Search:CROSSFIT.

You can surely see that yes, we are categorically capable of more. Ask any Crossfitter and they will tell you that they are stronger and tougher than they thought possible and that is a good thing.......but for how long?

To be harder, faster, stronger, you must fight........right?

I don't know.

If we've learned anything from our global experience as of late, it would seem that certain styles just can't last.

More, harder, faster, stronger,
is not the future sustainability?

The real challenge from CROSSFIT is not that it's effective, it's that it's too effective. The draw, the intensity, is worth the fight. Only while you are fighting, are you not losing valuable time to train and get good at sustainable.

Think about it like this, if you had to invest in how your body will be powered going into the future are you going to choose nuclear or solar?
ARMOR DOWN UPDATES

This post was guided by the 94th stanza of the Art of Peace, a book written by Morihei Ueshiba

Armor Down is backing Legislation "H.R. 3516" AKA "The Veterans and Armed Forces’ Health Promotion Act of 2013".

This bill will

• Expand the scope of holistic care education and research for signature wounds such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

• Establish complementary and alternative medicine pilot programs for mental health and pain management treatment for veterans.

• Create a grant pilot program to upgrade Veteran Service Organization facilities, expanding the reach of wellness services directly into economically strained communities.

What we need right now people to show their support for this legislation by sign this petition.

Presently I'm promoting a new comedy on Fox, called Enlisted. It looks funny.
