This blog is dedicated to service members and veterans who, like me, never realized the implications of their military training.
The military taught us how to Armor Up for war, this blog can help you Armor Down to thrive as a civilian.

Basic Training Practical Exercise Week 1
The After Action Review(AAR) for this weeks training is Friday. Post comments and questions by then.
You should have seen me doing these exercises along with you. lol ...trying to imagine what good it can do for a 54 year old body that runs, plays tennis, and rides horses... and that feels it afterwards.
Seriously, I also thought of my 11 year old daughter and how super HEAVY her backpack is. Fortunately, she car pools to school and only has it on her shoulders and back for a few minutes at a time. I've got to weigh that thing.
Share this with Army times, stars & strips. This is truly valuable.
